Synopsis:
The film tells a story about sand and a man made of sand Sandy Man trying to survive in the environment he has just happened to be built by the small fingers of children playing on the beach. Life on the beach becomes more and more complicated every day. His home can be easily destroyed by some destructive elements as careless human activiy. Sandy Man is fighting constantly with an amount of carbage washed out onto the beach. One day there sinks a tanker filled with oil and the sand gets tired of fighting with the pollution. Sand decides to go away, leaving behind a stoney beach and a small little sand castle where the Sandy man is living. Now has come the time when people can value the sand - they build a fence around the sand castsle and let people to come and see it for a certain ammount of money. Sandy Man can't live in these conditions and decides to leave too onto a distant island. There he meets other Sandy Men having escaped from other beaches and together they are floating on this island away, beyond the skyline...
On the sandless beach children are now building castles from small stones ...
